Job description:
Reporting to the Head of the Press Department, and working closely with the DCPI press officer and community manager, the trainee will contribute to the deployment of communication actions in the media (press and social networks). Your main activities will include: - Drafting of press releases and press kits - Drafting and creation of engaging content adapted to the various social networks - Development of language elements intended for IRD spokespeople - Support for the organization of press or live events on social networks (service provider contacts, journalist contacts, etc.). - Dissemination of information (posting on the web) and promotion to the media and social networks. - Monitoring and identification of journalists, media and influencers (journalists, youtubers, science popularizers). - Press and social network monitoring of news and topics related to IRD's fields of activity. - Quantitative and qualitative monitoring and analysis of media coverage and communication actions carried out on social networks. - Event coverage (photo, video, other content, live)...
Diploma required: M2 journalism / audiovisual / political science / organizational communication / public and political communication / branding and communication. You have developed the following skills: - Good knowledge of communication techniques. - Very strong interest in scientific issues as well as the media landscape, the press, new media and influence trends. - Excellent writing skills and ability to popularize complex concepts. - Ability to organize, plan and manage projects. - Digital skills (social networks, web, DTP tools). You have the following human qualities: - Curiosity. - People skills and interpersonal skills. - Responsiveness and proactivity. - Dynamism. - Creativity. - Autonomy and adaptability. You have a particular interest in scientific issues relating to climate, biodiversity, global health and inequalities, as well as international development cooperation.
