Job description:
You will join the team in charge of corporate communications, reporting to the department manager. You will be fully involved in the production of high value-added content, in line with the objectives of readability, accessibility and promotion of the Institute's activities. Your main activities will be as follows: - Writing news and editorial content. - Participating in the design of communication media (brochures, reports, newsletters). - Collecting, checking, prioritizing and reformulating information from a variety of sources. - Contributing to the editorial production and management of IRD websites. - Participation in proofreading, correction and translation follow-up. - Creation and layout of documentation and presentations. - Support for event organization. - Communication watch: identification of best practices, analysis of editorial trends, inspiration for media and formats. - Monitoring of institutional topics related to IRD missions. - Collection and layout of indicators and reports. - Coverage and follow-up of events and production of content (written, photo, video) as required.
Qualifications: M2 communication / journalism / political science. You have developed the following skills: - Good knowledge of communication techniques - Very strong appetite for scientific issues and trends in information, communication, advocacy, awareness-raising - Sense of angle, editorial rigor, ability to adapt content to target audiences - Excellent penmanship, impeccable spelling and syntax - Very good analytical and synthesis skills - Taste for popularization and accessible writing - Proficiency in office automation tools (Word, Excel, PPT, Canva, etc.) and web publishing (CMS, etc.).You have the following human qualities: - Curiosity - People skills and interpersonal skills - Reactivity and proactivity - Dynamism - Creativity - Autonomy and adaptability You have a particular interest in scientific issues relating to climate, biodiversity, global health and inequalities, as well as in international development cooperation.
