Job description:
Under the functional responsibility of the head of the MER Detection division, the agent will report to the head of the Partnership and Development Department of the IRD's South-East Regional Delegation. His/her main mission will be to implement actions to detect and raise awareness of European research and innovation programs for research units on the Aix-Marseille site. The agent will be in charge of a portfolio of laboratories, mainly in the biology and environment fields. The agent may be called upon to provide ad hoc support to the Engineering division for project engineering activities or any other cross-functional activities enabling the MER to achieve its project objectives. Your activities will include Detection and awareness Analyze European work programs and draw up summaries for the scientific community of the Aix-Marseille site Meet with research units and their teams to identify their research topics and funding needs Identify potential candidates for calls for research and innovation projects Contribute to data analysis to detect potential applicants within the units of the Aix-Marseille site.Marseille site Disseminate information on European research and innovation programs/calls for proposals to the units in its portfolio Disseminate information on the MER service offering, and on the opportunities offered by the Aix-Marseille site's multi-annual Europe plan Contribute to the European promotion of scientific activities : Enhancing the value of units, site themes and actions undertaken by partner establishments Influence Keeping a strategic watch on funding sources and schemes, mainly European, in particular the Horizon Europe program and its successor, as well as the Competitiveness Fund Participating in the GTN Bio-Environnement or its future equivalent on behalf of the Aix Marseille site Training Participating in the construction, organization and running of training courses. Networks Facilitate networking support for researchers and teacher-researchers Get involved in professional networks, dedicated to the international arena and more particularly to the European Union Project engineering Support teams at the Aix Marseille site in pre-montage and project qualification activities, in coordination with the Ecritures de la MER engineers, and support the Engineering division in coordinating projects in particular Support the Engineering division in pre-assembly activities for setting up certain calls for proposals (coordination by a site team, individual projects, etc.).)

You will have developed the following skills Knowledge of the various funding programs for research and innovation at national and European level Knowledge of European institutions and the mechanisms or support mechanisms of the European Union, particularly the Framework Program for Research and Innovation Knowledge of the status of EPSTs and EPSCPs and more generally of the organization, Good drafting and summarizing skills Good listening and negotiating skills Fluency in written and spoken English Ability to manage a project process Ability to negotiate and master techniques in an international and European context Ability to work as part of a team Use software specific to the activity You demonstrate the following human qualities Rigor and initiative Organizational skills Autonomy Good interpersonal and verbal skills Ability to maintain confidentiality Diploma of at least level 6
