Job description:
Reporting to the head of the SPV, and on behalf of the UMRs within the scope of the IDF&Ouest delegation, you will contribute to the implementation and follow-up of operations relating to the development of partnerships (academic and industrial) and the valorization of research in one or more scientific fields. Your activities are as follows: - Assisting researchers in their search for funding and drawing up the corresponding contracts, in compliance with IRD and funding bodies' regulations; - Negotiate research collaboration contracts with partners and funders, draw them up and monitor them on behalf of the research units, while ensuring compliance with legal, administrative and financial regulations in force and with the IRD's internal rules and regulations, administrative and financial regulations and IRD policy - Examine the relevance and conformity of projects to their aims and objectives in terms of (i) stakes, (ii) protection and/or transfer, (iii) risks (legal and financial) for the IRD - Ensure compliance with IRD policy on intellectual property protection and contract negotiation; - Participate in training and awareness-raising activities for researchers; - Develop partnerships with the socioeconomic world, and promote research and technology transfer.

You have developed the following skills: - You are familiar with the organization of public higher education and research establishments, as well as with the environment of support mechanisms and the ecosystem linked to Research and Innovation; you understand the expectations and issues involved; - You are familiar with research funding mechanisms at national level (Agence Nationale de la Recherche, local authorities, Ademe, AFD, BPI France...).Knowledge of intellectual property and contract law; Knowledge of the processes involved in commercializing research (detection, contractualization, protection, maturation, licensing); Ability to conduct negotiations and implement associated procedures and tools (mandates, validation, monitoring tools, reporting, arbitration, etc.); Ability to write, analyze, summarize and communicate: autonomy, ability to discern and take initiative, ability to manage stress and pressure in response to requests at different levels (laboratory, department, governance, partners), involvement in cross-functional projects, ability to listen, diplomacy, negotiation skills and respect for confidentiality, ability to work as part of a team (ad hoc mobilization of skills, reporting, mentoring with other team members). Level diploma: Master 2, project management, innovation management, scientific, legal.
